Join Second Chance Pet Adoptions for the Third Annual Furry 5K to raise money to support homeless pets on Saturday, October 11, 2014 at WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary, NC!
The event includes two 5K runs, one for people only, and one with people and dogs. There will also be The CareFirst 2K dog walk and 1K senior dog walk. We’ll have lots of vendors onsite to visit as well! The event is fun for families, individuals and of course dogs! Join hundreds of people like you who care about animals and want to help save lives.

This is the original ‘race with dogs’ charity event in the Triangle!

How do I get involved?

WALK: If you want to participate in The CareFirst 2K dog walk or 1K senior dog walk, select the “Register Now” button up top. You don’t have to have a dog to participate – anyone is welcome to join in the fun. The money raised from this walk event will help homeless cats as well as dogs!

RUN: The same applies if you want to run! We have two 5K runs for you: one with dogs and one without! If you want to participate in either 5K run, select the “Register Now” button up top.
