I miss you all and thank you for the love and care you gave me during my search for a permanent home. You should see all the attention I am getting from my new family.
Mike works from home and I act as a foot warmer during my breaks from protecting the house from birds and squirrels.
When the kids are home from school, I allow all the petting I can stand before sneaking off to one of my hiding places; I have several. In the evenings, I like to hang out on Mike's ottoman… he's my favorite, but don't tell Jamye… she feeds me. I'm still training the one year old, maybe in a year or so we can be friends.

Just wanted to let you know that our entire family is really enjoying Misty and she seems to be adapting well. She has been extremely receptive and patient with the kids. She has proven to have the personality we were looking for - social and accepting of a busy environment , but happily receptive to LOTS of attention.
