Sonoma is doing great! Hopefully we can take some cute pictures soon. I kept him in a small room at first and he was so excited to get out and explore the house. He just ran around looking at everything. He is really frisky with the toy mice and has already climbed to the top of our "cat tree." He and Shadow, my three-year-old female cat, are getting along great. He is not intimidated by her and seems really happy. If she chases him he is happy to chase her back. Andy told me that this morning they touched noses, so that is sweet. He is very affectionate and purrs a lot.
A note “from” Sonoma:
Dear Karen,
I am enjoying my new home. There is this "cat tree" in the sunroom that I can climb on and do my bird watching. Sometimes the birds tease me but I just stick my tongue out at them I miss my brother and sister but there is this new cat here named Shadow. She is pretty nice to me and even lets me chase her tale! We have some fun running around the house together. The people here play feather games with me too, and that's fun. Also, the laser pointer game is really exciting. I really like the "cat grass" that they bought for me but I'm not sure about the live catnip yet. Shadow goes crazy over it. Well, bye for now. I will send more pictures later so that you can see what a handsome cat I'm growing up to be.
