Sonshine, Stevie and Helen

Who are Stevie, Helen, Cozy and Sonshine? Stevie, Helen, Cozy and Sonshine are four kittens currently living in a foster home. They came to us in early January with obvious eye issues - Cozy had no eyelids, while Stevie, Helen and Sonshine were completely blind. After careful consideration, Stevie, Helen and Sonshine had their eyes removed on February 26th. Their eyes had not formed correctly, which left them without sight and lead to chronic infections of the tissue that was there. Cozy has sight and did not require any surgery, but he will need lubricating eye drops the rest of his life.

Who is Sadie Cat? Sadie Cat is a special cat who is helping Second Chance watch over the four kittens in our care as well as telling the kitten's stories leading up to their adoption.

What are Sadie Cat's Diary Entries? Sadie Cat has been writing diary entries about the kittens and some of the highlights in their lives so far.
