Bark in the Park is back! Bring your best four-legged friend to enjoy the Durham Bulls baseball game with you–tickets for the May 19 game are on sale now! The sale of each dog ticket is donated by the Bulls to the animals here at Second Chance, so it’s a great time for a great cause!

To get tickets for you and your dog, click HERE. You must purchase tickets in sections 124, 126, 128, 130, 132, or 134, and you must purchase a ticket for your dog.

Due to the pandemic, loyal Bark in the Park fans will notice the following changes (details HERE) this season:

  1. Because COVID-related regulations are constantly changing, tickets are only being sold on a month-by-month basis this season. You won’t be able to purchase a ticket bundle for all the games this year and will need to check back each month for that month’s game. (You can still save the date! Upcoming Bark in the Park games are June 9, July 21, August 18, and September 8.)
  2. The earliest games of the season will welcome fewer than 30% of the usual number of fans so that ticket-holders’ seats can be spaced in socially-distanced pods. (Current NC guidelines allow a ballpark to operate at 50% capacity, but the Bulls are taking additional precautions so that distance can be maintained throughout the stadium.)
  3. Due to the limited number of tickets available, then, the Bulls recommend you purchase a 919 Club membership, which will grant you first access to ticket sales. For more info, click HERE.
  4. Unless you are actively eating or drinking, masks are required to be worn while inside the stadium.
  5. Tickets will be issued digitally this year.

As usual, Second Chance volunteers will be ready and excited to “pet sit” your pup while you access parts of the stadium where non-service dogs are not allowed (food and drinks, restrooms, and so on).

Second Chance and the Durham Bulls appreciate your cooperation and patience as we navigate these changes in a new world–your safety and the well-being of Second Chance and Bulls personnel are our priority!
