A RECORD BROKEN!

With 580 runners and walkers, Racing for Rescues 2022 generated $55,000!

Thanks to ALL who came out to Racing for Rescues and ran and walked remotely! We have a few post-event things to share:

  • Congrats to our overall fastest runners, recipients of $50 Fleet Feet gift cards:
    • 5K without dogs, fastest male: Bennett Perry
    • 5K without dogs, fastest female: Mikayla Raleigh

    • 5K with dogs, fastest female: Amanda Hackney
  • Congrats also to our fastest dogs, who scored backpacks with goodies like treats and toys:

  • All who registered by April 29 were entered to win a $25 gift card to Abbey Road Tavern and Grill; the randomly-drawn winner was Stacey Lynch!
  • Lastly, we selected one team of 10 or more people at random to win a $100 gift card donated by the Piper’s Tavern so they could enjoy a pizza party; congratulations to Team Credit Suisse!
