Mission Statement

Second Chance Pet Adoptions is the oldest no-kill rescue organization in Wake County. At Second Chance, our mission is to champion homeless cats and dogs who are healthy or treatable in the quest to find their forever home and engage with our community to promote responsible pet ownership-ultimately reducing future generations of homeless animals.

We have another “Buy Food, Do Good” event coming up next Wed. (Oct 22nd) at Romano’s Macaroni Grill in Cary! They are hosting an all-day (11am-10pm) fundraiser for Second Chance and will be donating a portion of the proceeds back to the cats and dogs! There are so many pets that need forever homes! Southern States Subaru wants to reward you and the community for adopting a cat or dog in need. This Pet Adoption incentive will give a $250 discount on a brand new Subaru to anyone that brings the dealership the paperwork of their pet adoption. When the customer purchases the vehicle Southern States Subaru will then give the organization of the adoption a referral donation of $150.
