The Center will be closed to the public in celebration of Labor Day on Monday, September 5, 2016.

If you’re attending the Downtown Raleigh Home Show, we’d love to have you stop by our booth, say hi, and learn more about Second Chance Pet Adoptions! For a few hours each day, we’ll have some adoptable animals on-site, so you can meet your new best friend or just get some lovin’ from a furry friend. RHS tickets are $7 online and $10 at the box office.

The show runs 11:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. on Friday, 10:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. on Saturday, and 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. on Sunday.

(Lilly’s is name after a four-legged friend, after all.) Find them in Raleigh at 1813 Glenwood Avenue (Five Points), and in Durham, find them at 810 West Peabody Street.

Lilly’s serves award-winning pizza with organic and locally-sourced ingredients; they can also serve up vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free pies, so everyone can find a pizza to love! Not a pizza person? (We know you’re out there somewhere!) They’ve also got calzones, stromboli, pasta, salads, and desserts. If you enjoy a beer with your pizza, get $2 domestic drafts in Raleigh and $2 domestic bottles in Durham.

Join us for a happy hour at Bottle Revolution on Lake Boone Trail on Friday, September 30 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.! Bring your pup and enjoy a drink on the patio–they have so many beverages to choose from! Second Chance will be out there with some adoptable animals, so come and meet them and see if one of them will be joining your family! Bottle Revolution will be donating $1 from each draft sold all day Sept. 30, so make sure to bring your friends so we can raise more money to save animals! We will also have fun raffle prizes (details and ticket purchase form here), so come out and take your chances at winning a delicious prize!
