As the weather cools, enjoy a Wine Walk benefitting Second Chance Pet Adoptions! Pick up your Wine Tasting Card at the Second Chance Pet Adoptions tent across from Cold Stone Creamery and visit with some adoptable dogs. Taste some fabulous wines and have your card stamped by an associate at each stop on the tour. Enjoy a leisurely stroll at your own pace through our shops and restaurants – it’s a great way to see all that Parkside Town Commons has to offer. Acquire at least eight stamps and return your card to be entered to win a $100 gift basket!
The fee to participate is $10, with 100% of proceeds going to Second Chance Pet Adoptions. Of course, you must be at least 21 years old to partake in the tastings, but all ages are welcome to shop and savor the many restaurants. The first 100 participants will receive a FREE canvas tote bag, so get here early!

Crossroads Plaza Presents: “Flood of Friends Benefit Relief Concert”
Join Crossroads in Cary for a day full of giving, family fun, and FREE MUSIC! Crossroads Plaza and its partners have joined together to raise funding and supplies for those devastated by the aftermath of Hurricane Florence. They will have a full line up of entertainers including DJ Illumination, Bounce, Soul Psychedelique Orchestra, and Night Years, all performing live on the main stage presented by East Coast Entertainment, Durham Entertainment, and J and J Tent Company.
During the event, guests will be able to donate in a variety of ways: Red Cross Hurricane Relief Fund will be collecting cash or card donations. Mutual Aid will be on hand collecting donations of cash and supplies to be delivered to those in need. Second Chance Pet Adoptions will be on-site collecting for the needs of our furry friends.
Our friends at Go Cary will also be on-site to help to collect and deliver goods back to the nonprofit partners’ locations.
A BIG “thank you” to all of our supporters who have all generously donated their time, talent, or resources. This is sure to be a great event – you don’t want to miss it!

It’s a cider and rescue dog party! Join Barley Labs and Second Chance Pet Adoptions as we welcome Austin Eastciders for a tap takeover. Adoptable dogs will be on-site in this dog-friendly taproom and YOU can help the animals simply by having a beverage! She will also be offering wildlife prints where 50% of the proceeds will go to Second Chance Pet Adoptions. Gaella thoroughly believes that everyone deserves a second chance. Her whole life she has had rescue dogs and wants to contribute to success stories of other dogs and cats. She will also offer 20% of any custom piece ordered that day to go to Second Chance Pet Adoptions as well. Let’s spread the love!

Enjoy great beer from Raleigh Brewing Company (especially the Rescue Rye, for which proceeds will be donated to our animals!) while you chow down on lunch, snacks, or dinner from the on-site food truck, Mr. Puebla Tacos–they’re donating 10% of sales to our animals!
