    All day
    01/04/2020-01/31/2020
3544 Davis Dr, Morrisville, NC 27560

You know those Pinterest-worthy handmade decorations some people have but yours have only ever come out so-so (or worse)? Go from the most sarcastic of “nailed it”s to a genuine and hecka excited “NAILED IT!” at Nailed It DIY Studio RTP! For the ENTIRE month of January, anyone who visits and purchases something in the retail section OR creates a project of their own and mentions Second Chance will have 10% of the proceeds donated to Second Chance animals on their behalf at no extra cost! Purchase or make a pet-related project in particular and Nailed It DIY Studio will donate 20% of the proceeds! Check out some of the pet-themed projects below!

Visit with ADOPTABLE KITTENS: On Friday, Jan. 10, adoptable kittens will be visiting from 6pm-8pm.

Also, come by during the GRAND OPENING: On Jan. 17, from 4pm to 7pm, Nailed It DIY Studio will be celebrating their grand opening. One Hope Wine Company will be pouring wine and a portion of the proceeds will also go to Second Chance animals! There will also be hors d’oeuvres, swag bags, giveaways, and–of course–some projects to make.

Nailed It DIY Studio offers wood-based projects, signs, and home decor items in a do-it-yourself environment for all ages. Our art-tenders will guide you through the step-by-step process of building, painting, stenciling, and finishing a one-of-a-kind project for your home or to give as a gift. We offer birthday parties, team-building events, and half-day track-out camp. You can make a reservation online at rtp.naileditdiy.com or just come in during our open studio hours. We are also a BYOB studio, so grab a friend and a bottle of wine and come make something great–and do something for animals while you’re at it! It’s the perfect way to spend some time during a cold and rainy day this winter!

A little about Nailed It DIY Studio: Pam Brezinski and Michelle Schemery are the owners of Nailed It DIY Studio. We have been friends for many years and share a love of art and animals. Between the two of us, we currently have 5 rescue cats and 4 rescue dogs. When we decided to open our studio, we knew we wanted to be able to give back to the rescue organizations that helped to fill our homes with fur-family. Michelle and her two kids, Ally and Carter, have volunteered in one form or another with Second Chance for over 5 years. We have adopted two of our dogs through Second Chance as well.

  • Dog wash – NEW ADDRESS
    11:00 am-3:00 pm
    01/18/2020
7408 Creedmoor Road Raleigh, NC 27613

NOTE: Unleashed has moved two doors down, to the other side of Hallmark! They are now located at 7408 Creedmoor Road!

Bring your dirty pup to Unleashed on Creedmoor and we’ll take care of bath time for you! Spare your knees, back, and bathroom with a donation for the animals of Second Chance Pet Adoptions (suggested $10 donation per dog). Cash, check, and card all accepted.

Second Chance has an online appointment-making system; while we do take walk-ins, and we do take on-site payment even for those who chose to register (but not pay) online, we especially encourage advance registration and prepayment to:

–reduce or eliminate your wait time

–have fewer people waiting at one time to reduce the spread of COVID-19

–pay for the wash without needing to exchange cash, credit cards, or checks with our volunteers (again, to reduce the spread of COVID-19)

We hope this will make your experience better and safer. You may now make an appointment by clicking HERE! Each month, the online reservations will open up at 12:00 noon Eastern on the first day of the month. Online reservations will close 24 hours in advance of the wash (at 11:00 a.m. Eastern on the day before the wash) OR once all appointments are booked.

    When you arrive at Unleashed:

As is required by law, please wear a mask or face covering. (If you need one, we can provide one for you during your time on-site; please let us know by emailing rachel@secondchancenc.org.)

Please stay at least 6 feet away from Second Chance volunteers, Unleashed staff, and all other customers as much as you are able to.

Please be patient with our volunteers as they navigate this event with new policies in place. They are donating their time and we are trying to keep them as safe as possible.

If you will need additional accommodations for safety precautions, please use our online reservation system to make your appointment and let us know what your needs will be (e.g., our volunteers can assist with curbside pick-up of your dog so that you can stay in the car if needed) so that we can do our best to make plans to help. While we cannot guarantee accommodation, we will do our absolute best!
