Enjoying America’s pastime with your best four-legged friend is a night you’ll remember fur-ever. Come on out April 13, May 11, June 1, July 6, and August 10. Human ($9.50) and dog ($5.50) tickets are on sale now HERE. Each dog needs a ticket, and each dog ticket includes a donation to Second Chance Pet Adoptions. Note that seating for dogs is only available in Outfield Reserve sections. As usual, Second Chance volunteers will be ready and excited to “pet sit” your pup while you access parts of the stadium where non-service dogs are not allowed (food and drinks, restrooms, and so on).

Join Second Chance for our first-ever “Paw Prints at Brüeprint” event! Featuring several of our adoptable dogs looking for their furever homes, it’s sure to be a blast. On July 9 from 3:30 PM to 6:00 PM, come try one of Brüeprint’s unique beers at their CARY location and enjoy a Saturday afternoon with furry friends for company! We may not be able to control the weather, but a cold beer and a puppy never made a hot day worse!

11:00 am-3:00 pm 07/16/2022 7408 Creedmoor Road Raleigh, NC 27613  Bring your dog to Unleashed and Second Chance volunteers will bathe your pup for you! Spare you knees, back, and bathroom by making a contribution to Second Chance (recommended $10 per dog) so more stray and abandoned cats and dogs can get their second chances to find love. Cash, check, and credit card are all accepted on-site; your dog can get a bath as a walk-in or you can make an appointment via our website. Dog washes are the third Saturday of each month, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in January and February, and from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in March through December. We strongly encourage you to make an appointment–doing so will reduce or eliminate your wait time and you can even pre-pay for greater convenience if you’d like. To schedule a wash, click HERE. The reservation system opens at 12:00 noon on the first day of each month and closes at 11:00 a.m. the day before the wash or when all appointments are booked, whichever comes first. We will always have room for walk-ins. Our volunteers will follow any COVID-related protocols in place at the time, whether the precautions are set by Wake County, the City of Raleigh, Unleashed, or Second Chance. We encourage dog wash customers to do the same. While you’re being led through O2’s classic gentle flow yoga class, our friendly (and slightly rambunctious) kittens will be running loose through the studio, sure to make you laugh at their antics and “aww” at their sweetness. If you’ve ever needed a yoga buddy, these kitties are the ones for you! With proceeds benefiting Second Chance, this class is a can’t miss!

24 - Kitty Stretches and Kombucha
2:00 pm-3:30 pm 07/24/2022 200 Park at North Hills Street, Suite 111 Raleigh, NC 27609  Get ready to do cat and cow pose and then snuggle some real cats! Midtown Yoga is hosting a Kittens and Kombucha event July 24 at 2PM, and it’s got everything you need for relaxation: a hot yoga class (2:00 – 2:45), followed by playing with adoptable kittens while sipping kombucha (2:45 – 3:30). While the kitties cannot join the hot yoga class, they sure will love to cool down with you in the lobby as you sip on your drink! All the proceeds will be supporting Second Chance, so get ready to do a big stretch! Sign up HERE today!

We’ve got sizes, breeds, and personalities of all types, and they all need loving homes! This is a great way to figure out what you’re looking for in a furry companion, and if you happen to meet The One, you can start the adoption application process immediately! We know finding the perfect pet can be hard, so why not meet a bunch of them at once and see if you fall in love? One of our pups is sure to catch your eye!
