    Pop-Pupalooza at Dix Park

    12:00 pm-6:00 pm
    06/23/2018

During this pop-up event, dogs will be allowed off-leash while at Dorothea Dix Park’s specially-crafted dog park. There will be plenty of fun for dogs and their owners! The dog park features four acres for dogs to roam, and a small dog area, too!

For the humans, Kono Pizza Raleigh, Locopops, and Neuse River Brewing Company will be at the park making sure you stay fed and hydrated while you play with your best friend. Pulse FM 96.9 & 102.5 will be providing the tunes for the afternoon!

Bring your own lawn chairs, blankets, and anything else you need to keep yourself and your pooch cool and comfortable! There will be fun raffles for pet (and human) prizes every half hour! Pet-themed vendors will be at the park, too, so you can purchase a new toy for your pup, learn about dog health & safety, adoption, and more!

See more details and the vendors/rescues who will be on-site here.

PLEASE NOTE: This is a permitted special event at Dix Park. Unless you and your dog are within the pop-up dog park on the day the pop-up dog park is available, all pets MUST be leashed when at Dix Park or any other City of Raleigh park.

Please register if you plan to attend this event. Having a count of how many people to expect helps the City of Raleigh plan and they can contact you in the event of inclement weather.

Directions to the Pop-Up Dog Park:
From Lake Wheeler, turn onto Goode Street. Turn right onto Biggs Drive. Parking is available on Whiteside Drive.

From Western Boulevard, turn onto S. Boylan Avenue. Turn left onto Umstead Drive. Parking is available all around Harvey Hill on Middleton Drive, Picot Drive and Palmer Drive.
