Pet Friendly Housing
Most, if not all, dog-friendly rentals are also cat friendly. The Wake County Animal Center has compiled a housing guide that lists approximately 200 rental home and apartments in Wake County that accepts dogs (and in most cases, cats).
They have also compiled a list of rental homes that have zero breed restrictions in order to keep happy families together.
