Adoptable animals from Second Chance Pet Adoptions will be on-site from 5:00 to 7:00, though the event itself runs later into the evening. While there is no cost to attend, the organizers are asking that those who can bring a monetary donation or supplies from the rescues’ wish lists please do, and all will be turned over to the animals in these two rescue organizations. (To see Second Chance’s wish list, click HERE.) Donations will be accepted until 11pm. While you enjoy learning about these amazing rescue groups, check out the UpZcale food truck, who will be providing delicious food created by professional chefs! After the animals leave, live music will be performed by Antigone joined by The Old Laws, Split Type, and Needle Mouse. These polished Raleigh rock bands support our animal rescues and want to provide you with an evening to remember!

Katelin and Kimmy will be instructing a yoga class on the House of Hops back patio. The class is suitable for folks of all fitness levels and is donation-based: any money given for a class fee will be going to the animals of Second Chance Pet Adoptions. So come enjoy the beautiful morning with Katelin and Kimmy, donate what you can, and afterward, have a drink (wine, beer, water, kombucha, etc.) at House of Hops and lunch from the food truck of the day! Starting in March 2019, Second Chance is using an online sign-up system so that you may select your appointment time! We hope this will make your experience even better as we virtually eliminate your wait time and offer the convenience of pre-payment. You may now make an appointment by clicking HERE! Each month, the online reservations will open up at 12:00 noon Eastern on the first day of the month.
