4th ANNUAL PINTS FOR POOCHES

It’s that time of year! Summer is winding down, the kids are back in school (you made it!)…and the heat is still kickin’. Take a load off and cool down with your best (leashed and friendly) four-legged friend while helping Second Chance Pet Adoptions raise money to rescue homeless animals!
Join us from 1:00 to 4:00 at Brüeprint Brewing Company in Apex. We’ll have lots of water bowls for the doggies and, of course, Brüeprint has got the brews to help you beat the heat! How will your pup indulge? Just 4 Dogs will be out there selling “beer” and treats for doggos! (Definitely reward your fur baby for being well-behaved with the on-site mobile groomer, All Dogged Up, who can provide some basic services for you that day.) You’ll also be able to shop dog accessories from Chase and Chauncey and pet-themed soy candles from Rescue Me Candle Co. and commission a custom pet portrait from Timeless Visions, LLC. Soak up the alcohol in your belly and get lunch or dinner from the Baguettaboutit food truck!
And for a little extra fun? Dress your pup to compete in the costume contest! Don’t have a dog yet, or looking to add another to your household? Visit with some of our adoptable dogs and puppies! You can check out all of our available dogs HERE, though not all will be joining us that day, so please feel free to submit an adoption application, just in case!
Last but not least, don’t forget to swing by the raffle table and take your chances at getting your paws on a prize! Can’t be there? You can still help homeless animals get a second chance and play for a prize by purchasing raffle tickets online (below) until 10:00 a.m. Eastern on Saturday, August 31, 2019!
RAFFLE PRIZES
- Brüeprint Bundle: 64-oz. growler that the winner may fill with their choice of beer, 2 pint glasses, one t-shirt, key chains, 2 koozies, $20 gift certificate (not pictures), and a bourbon candle, along with a custom-made wood one-handed bottle opener bearing the Second Chance name and paw print (only about 50 ever made!).
- Dogs Just Wanna Have Fun: ceramic dog bowl filled with tennis balls, a rope toy, a squeaky toy, a crinkly toy, a stuffie, and a bag of treats.
- (C)At Home But Not Forgotten: kitty may not be able to come to the brewery, but you can decrease the guilt trip she’ll put you on a home by bringing baby this basket that includes Smart Kitty Loco Motion and String Fling toys, a feather wand, chew mice, a ball-and-feather, and a stuffie.
