NC Courage Bark in the Park

    6:30 pm-9:30 pm
    10/13/2021
    WakeMed Soccer Park
201 Soccer Park Drive, Cary, NC 27511

Second Chance Pet Adoptions is partnering with the North Carolina Football Club to host two Bark in the Park events this fall at WakeMed Soccer Park! Come bring your furry friends to either a North Carolina Football Club or North Carolina Courage soccer match (or both)! Second Chance volunteers will be there, ready to hold onto your dog while you hit the restroom or a concession stand.

The first event (NC Football Club) is Sunday, September 26th at 2 pm. Tickets are available here: http://www.fevo.me/ncfcbark.

The second event (NC Courage) is now scheduled for Wednesday, October 13th at 7:30 pm (making up for the cancelled October 1st game). Those who purchased tickets for the Oct. 1st game will need to call the NCFC to swap your tickets to the 13th or make the change in your account. Those who’d like to purchase tickets for this game can click HERE.

Team-branded dog gear will be available for purchase at the stadium on the day of the event. Get your tickets today before they sell out!

Bark in the Park tickets are only available in the Sideline East Section 301 and the Endline South Section 208 and you MUST purchase tickets for yourself as well as your dog to attend the event. While you will be given a seat location, the section in which you purchased it will be General Admission for this event.

ALL DOGS REQUIRE A TICKET FOR ENTRY. Bark in the Park ticket buyers must enter the Southeast Corner Gate at WakeMed Soccer Park. For questions, please contact Brian Kapusta at Brian@northcarolinafc.com.

All dogs must be on a non-retractable leash at all times. We ask that all dogs are up-to-date on their vaccinations and that owners who have not received their COVID-19 vaccine wear their masks unless eating or drinking.

Please make a smart judgment on whether or not your dog will do well in an environment with many dogs, people, and loud noises prior to making your purchase.

The North Carolina Football Club would like to thank Hollywood Feed and Tito’s Handmade Vodka for their support to make these events happen! See you out there!

    Dog wash

    11:00 am-3:00 pm
    10/16/2021
    Unleashed - Creedmoor
7408 Creedmoor Road Raleigh, NC 27613

Bring your dirty pup to Unleashed on Creedmoor and we’ll take care of bath time for you! Spare your knees, back, and bathroom with a donation for the animals of Second Chance Pet Adoptions (suggested $10 donation per dog). Cash, check, and card all accepted.

Second Chance has an online appointment-making system; while we do take walk-ins, and we do take on-site payment even for those who chose to register (but not pay) online, we especially encourage advance registration and prepayment to:

–reduce or eliminate your wait time

–have fewer people waiting at one time to reduce the spread of COVID-19

–pay for the wash without needing to exchange cash, credit cards, or checks with our volunteers (again, to reduce the spread of COVID-19)

We hope this will make your experience better and safer. You may now make an appointment by clicking HERE! Each month, the online reservations will open up at 12:00 noon Eastern on the first or second day of the month. Online reservations will close 24 hours in advance of the wash (at 11:00 a.m. Eastern on the day before the wash) OR once all appointments are booked.

    When you arrive at Unleashed:

Because the City of Raleigh and Wake County now require masks indoors, Second Chance now requires dog wash volunteers and customers to wear a face mask. We continue to encourage our customers to stay at least 6 feet away from Second Chance volunteers, Unleashed staff, and all other customers as much as you are able to.

If you will need additional accommodations for safety precautions, please use our online reservation system to make your appointment and let us know what your needs will be (e.g., our volunteers can assist with curbside pick-up of your dog so that you can stay in the car if needed) so that we can do our best to make plans to help. While we cannot guarantee accommodation, we will do our absolute best!
