Starting in March 2019, Second Chance is using an online sign-up system so that you may select your appointment time! We hope this will make your experience even better as we virtually eliminate your wait time and offer the convenience of pre-payment. You may now make an appointment by clicking HERE! Each month, the online reservations will open up at 12:00 noon Eastern on the first day of the month. Online reservations will close 24 hours in advance of the wash (at 11:00 a.m. Eastern on the day before the wash) OR once all appointments are booked. Bring your best friend to the ball games on April 29, May 15, June 12, July 24, and August 21! These games usually SELL OUT so get your tickets today! Human tickets for the event are priced at just $9. Canine tickets are priced at $5. All the proceeds from the canine tickets help the animals of Second Chance Pet Adoptions. To ensure everyone has a fun and safe experience at the Bark in the Park events, please read and follow this important information: Fans with 4-legged friends will enter through the Baker Roofing Center Field Gate (on the corner of Mangum and Willard Streets) and go to the Diamond View I concourse. Seating will be in sections 128, 130, 132, and 134. DOGS ARE NOT ALLOWED IN ANY OTHER AREA OF THE BALLPARK. We will have plenty of volunteers who will be more than happy to pet sit your dog should you need to briefly leave these areas for restroom breaks or to grab some food. All dogs must be current on their vaccinations. Dog owner assumes responsibility for the action of their dog for the duration of the Bark in the Park event. All dogs must be kept on fixed length leash (no longer than 8 ft.) at ALL TIMES. No retractable leashes, no dogs off leash. These games will be busy and the weather might be warm. Summer is winding down, the kids are back in school (you made it!)…and the heat is still kickin’. Take a load off and cool down with your best (leashed and friendly) four-legged friend while helping Second Chance Pet Adoptions raise money to rescue homeless animals! Join us from 1:00 to 4:00 at Brüeprint Brewing Company in Apex. We’ll have lots of water bowls for the doggies and, of course, Brüeprint has got the brews to help you beat the heat! How will your pup indulge? Just 4 Dogs will be out there selling “beer” and treats for doggos! (Definitely reward your fur baby for being well-behaved with the on-site mobile groomer, All Dogged Up, who can provide some basic services for you that day.) You’ll also be able to shop dog accessories from Chase and Chauncey and pet-themed soy candles from Rescue Me Candle Co.and commission a custom pet portrait from Timeless Visions, LLC. Soak up the alcohol in your belly with lunch or dinner from the Baguettaboutit food truck! And for a little extra fun? Dress your pup to compete in the costume contest! Don’t have a dog yet, or looking to add another to your household? Visit with some of our adoptable dogs and puppies!
